Kent County Show 2024

We attended the Kent County Show over the weekend of the 5th - 7th July 2024.

It was the wettest in recent years, but the team from Kent Scouts and Lower Grange Farm didn't let that dampen their spirits and still put together a great taster of Scouting for all visitors. Activities on offer included bushcraft, tomahawk throwing, Nerf games, and pedal karts which were popular with all ages.

The climbing team ran the ever-popular climbing wall, and our face-painters worked non-stop. New this year were butterfly and flower crafts in addition to woodslice bugs which were ideal for taking home as a souvenir.

On Sunday afternoon the heavens opened and a storm arrived making a very muddy end to three days talking to hundreds of people about #skillsforlife!
