Christmas Parties at Lower Grange Farm

December 10th was the beginning of seven parties over four nights at Lower Grange Farm saw nearly 450 Beavers, Cubs and Brownies come along and make during the course of the week almost 2000 craft items, consume 450 hot dogs, 450 packets of crisps, 450 cakes and 450 chocolate biscuits along with the pulling of 450 crackers and drinking 450 bottles of water - not to mention the 150 mince pies consumed by their leaders!  All rounded off with the "mini Hullabaloo roadshow" led by James, Ali and Hattie making sure that the music never stopped and the games were lots of fun.  Over 75 pass the parcels were prepared, unwrapped and enjoyed by the children too!

The highlight of every party though has to be the visit by Father Christmas and his helpers who distributed the presents and found out from some of the children what they wanted on the big day!

Snow fell each night which everyone enjoyed - particularly as it disappeared as fast as it came!!  You would need to be there to believe it!!
