Christmas Trail 2022
Saturday 10th December saw Squirrels from all over the county come to Lower Grange Farm for a Christmas Trail. The Squirrels made their way round the trail, meeting the Elves and taking part in different games and activities.
The first stop was the Christmas post office where the Squirrels helped the Elves sort the letters for Santa before moving on to sing, dance and decorate a Christmas tree. Next stop was story time before heading off to make reindeer food and decorate their own bauble to take home.
Warming up by the fire to toast marshmallows was enjoyed by all before continuing along the trial to where they had to build a snowman. It was a very cold day so the hot chocolate station was a great way for everyone to warm up before meeting Santa.
As Squirrels entered the grotto they were excited by the snow gently falling on them. Santa was delighted to hear about their adventures that day and thanked them for helping to sort out the post. Every child received a gift and it was smiling faces all round.
What a magical day!
