17th Tonbridge Scout & Guide Band
From the minutes the band were told they were playing at St Georges Day at Windsor Castle they have been practising hard. In no time at all the day had arrived with a coach full of band members. They marched into the quadrangle looking and sounding brilliant. First part of a full afternoon was an arena display to waiting people. Time for a quick pause, they then led in the Queen Scouts into the quadrangle.
They then entertained everyone with playing some amazing music, with the band from the Household Cavalry playing some of their music, while HRH Princess Beatrice and Bear Grylls met the Queen Scouts and other award holders. They then led everyone into the St Georges Chapel for a church service. After a talk from Bear Grylls they lead everyone out of the castle. 17th.org.uk.
