Christmas at Lower Grange Farm 2018
The culmination of our Christmas celebrations at Lower Grange Farm saw a couple of hundred people come along to the barn to enjoy our Christmas fayre on Saturday 15th December.
Several Groups also took the opportunity to do some fundraising and young people who are embarking on adventures at the World Scout Jamboree, Kandersteg or World Challenge also raised money to help them on their way.
Thanks to the team at Lower Grange Farm who helped organise refreshments, raffle, book stall, face painting and also the climbing, cave bus and archery team who enabled lots of visitors to have a go.
Maidstone Gang Show performed songs from the show and encouraged visitors to see the next show at Hazlitt Theatre.
Duncan Payne from The Weald of Kent Rotary was there to promote their annual walk which enables people to fundraise for Cancer Research and their own causes - Scouts can compete for the Kent Scout Challenge Trophy - Click to learn more about them.
Thanks to Kingswood Christmas Trees who kindly donated the tree which was much admired by everyone. Thanks to everyone who donated prizes for the raffle - especially The Historic Dockyard, Chatham.
Thanks to everyone who came along and supported us - we raised £740 which is tremendous.
