Cub and Beaver Adventure days

Did the shine shine? You bet it did!! Around 600 Cubs and Beavers came along to Lower Grange Farm over the Royal Wedding weekend to enjoy four action packed sessions of activities including archery, climbing, bouldering, the cave bus, obstacles races, pedal carts, launching rockets and a whole host of other activities.

The big hit of the weekend was the mop football - crazy game on a wet, slippery tarpaulin, six children with mops trying to score goals - wet and loads of fun!

Gallons of squash and lots of packets of biscuits were consumed too - all in all a very enjoyable weekend.

A massive thanks go to the team of volunteers who manned around 20 different bases during the weekend - we couldn't have done it without you!

We got to enjoy the Royal wedding too on the huge screen erected in the courtyard - so we didn't miss a moment!!
