HMS Cavalier

Six Cub scouts from Medway & Canterbury were present this morning (14th Nov) at Chatham Historic Dockyard for the unveiling by HRH The Duke of Edinburgh KG, KT, of the National Destroyer Memorial a unique bronze artwork by the eminent Britsh sculptor Kenneth Potts.

The Kent Cubs who had a front row seat have along association with the dockyard, the last event being the presentation by the Cubs of 2 Ensigns for HMS Cavalier which is the National Destroyer Memorial sitting alongside the sculpture.
