Christmas at Lower Grange Farm

Christmas came early to Lower Grange Farm with hundreds of visitors to the site on Saturday 14th December.  The barn ws packed full of festive stalls with those last minute Christmas gifts.  There were lots of chances to win competitions, raffles and tombolas too!  The refreshments were kept busy all day, serving soup and non-alcoholic mulled wine and mince pies.

The 6-10 team kept younger visitors entertained in a stable with crafts, quizzes and face painting.  The 2015 Japan contingent gave visitors a chance to have a go at Origami - a taste of Japan.  The climbing barn was open to visitors with many having a go to see if they could scale the heights - and many did!

The barn looked lovely with a massive Christmas tree to rival Trafalgar Square and over 500 decorated Christmas stockings from around the county.  Thanks to everyone who came along and supported the event and helped somewhere along the way either before, during or after!
