In May 2014 Kent Scouts held its first MediaCamp weekend. 15 Scouts and Explorers from across Kent came together to learn about putting things into the press, how to take better photos and film and produce videos.

Participants took a series of photographs of the World Scout Jamboree preparation camp taking place posting them to social media and made two films which were uploaded to YouTube. By taking part in the weekend they were able to gain their PR badge.
