Maidstone and Malling Cub Scouts Scrapheap Challenge 2006

25 Teams comprising of 5 Cubs and 1 adult from Maidstone and Malling took part in a Scrapheap Challenge based on the highly successful TV programme on 20th May 2006.

Their challenge started at 10am and finished with races at 3.30pm.

The Cubs had to design and build a vehicle that transported one Cub over a distance of 50 metres. The vehicle had to be themed and the team dressed up. The winners were Mereworth and Kingshill with their Dad's Army vehicle.

The day was fantastic and saw the Cubs constructing, painting and generally getting messy but having loads of fun.
