Kent Cub Scouts 90th Birthday Tea Party
Six Teams from around Kent took part in the 90th Birthday Tea Party competition held on Sunday 19th November at the 41st Medway Headquarters.
Specially invited guests came along and enjoyed a superb afternoon tea which the Cub Scouts had prepared.
The Guests which included the Mayors from Swanley and Dartford and Robin Burfitt, the Town Crier of the City of Rochester and Medway were very complimentary about the afternoon which everyone thoroughly enjoyed.
Robin Burfitt wrote a poem to commemorate the day and he performed it as part of the guests thank you to the Cubs.
The 1st Snodland Beacon Pack were the proud winners of the silver tea pot trophy with Crockenhill Pack the worthy runners up. Wateringbury came third and participant certificates were awarded to two teams from Galley Hill and the 41st Medway.
Well done everyone - it was better than tea at the Ritz.
