Beavers Autumn Adventure 2023
On Sunday 8th October 2023, 200 Beavers took over Lower Grange Farm for the Kent Beavers Autumn Adventure.
We had Colonies for all areas of the county take part in the day and gain their Badge.
The day started with everyone gathering in a circle for our two Assistant County Commissioners Debbie Pierce and Jenn Abel to talk with them about the day and what we had as activities.
We had multiple bases for the beavers to experience;
- Air Rifle Shooting
- Water Rockets
- Big bubbles
- Crafts
- Paracord
- Climbing
- Pitching tents
- Soft Archery
- Natural drawings
- Campfire
- Armpit Fudge
- Big Jenga and Connect 4
We also had two very special visitors, George the Shetland pony who most of our young people are starting to get to know pretty well as he is making appearances at quite a few Kent Programme team events and Dean Harding our County Commissioner or County Lead Volunteer as he is now known who came along to see what some of the young people were up to.
All in all everyone had a great day and the pictures show how much fun they had.
Thank you to everyone that supported us.
