Park Wood Investitures

As part of the Better Prepared project, Park Wood in Maidstone was identified as an area in need of the provision of Scouting.

Through a lot of hard work by the Regional Development Service, Kent Scouts and the Maidstone Districts, this has been made possible, with grants from the Development Grants Board, Golding Homes and Help a Maidstone Child, to name but a few of the donors, the Group has now been meeting regularly at Tree Tops Academy in Park Wood.

With a regular attendance of over 25 Beavers & Cubs, and now Scouts, Saturday 31st October saw the investiture of 19 Beavers and Cubs into the Group, along with two new Leaders.

Due to the ever increasing numbers, assistance is always required and changes are afoot.
