The Living Land 2016

3000 primary school children came along to The Living Land on 5th May 2016 and it seemed like they all visited the Kent Scout stand!  We encouraged children to have a go at some simple activities and engaged with teachers and assistants to promote what we have to offer young people.

We were visited by two local MPs, Tracey Crouch MP - along with baby Freddie, and Helen Whately MP in whose constituency Lower Grange Farm sits.  They were interested to hear all about Scouting in Kent and the volunteer issues that have been highlighted in the national papers this week.

Thanks to the team who helped - Ken, Bunty, Linda, Julie, Della, Elaine, Ann and Eric.  I couldn't have done it without you.
