The Golden Arrow

10 teams came along to Lower Grange Farm on a very hot sunny Sunday in July to compete for "The Golden Arrow".  The Scout Active Support Units from around the county took the chance to try their hand at rifle shooting, archery and darts.  Joined by Spitfire Network they threw, shot and sometimes even hit the targets!

Points were totted up and Spitfire Network narrowly beat the Lower Grange Farm team.  They won a specially commissioned trophy and certificate!

Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves and the afternoon was rounded off with afternoon tea.

Special thanks to George Large and Terry Lear for their instruction and patience with the archery and rifle shooting!
