Kent Cubs Cubmotion

24 teams of four Cub Scouts from all around the County took part in the annual Kent Cub Challenge. 

This year’s event was entitled “Cubmotion”. 

The Cubs took part in a series of activities on land, in the air and on the sea.  They flew aeroplanes, sailed boats and launched rockets, as well as fishing for ducks, space hopper racing and a scooter challenge! 

A day of frenzied activity culminated in a sedan chair race which was  enjoyed by all.   The overall winners of Cubmotion were Swanley District, closely followed by Tonbridge District in 2nd and 3rd places. 

The sedan chair competition was won by Maidstone South and Sheppey Districts.

Thanks to everyone who came along and helped - Leaders as always were great and can turn their hand to anything!
