St Paul's Rusthall - Royal Tunbridge Wells

We held our promise party at the URC hall in our village where we had a magic show, BBQ, and lots of games and activities for the Cubs. Before the main party started we paraded around Rusthall village with a local drum band, Bloco Fogo, leading us. A great many people came out of their homes to wave and cheer us round. At 19:16 we formed horseshoe to renew our promise and at the end we awarded Chief Scout Silvers to those who had completed them this term.

Tovil Cubs

Tovil Cubs joined with the other sections of their Group for a Cubs100 Promise Party/Group Christmas Party at Adventure Kidz in Maidstone. At 19:16 the whole Group remade their Promise.

Folkestone and Hythe Cubs

This is the Folkestone and Hythe Cubs renewing their promise on the 16th December at 19:16, they had a great evening all getting together for burgers and chips at the Saga Pavilion Sandgate.

16th Canterbury St Thomas' - 15th December 2016

16th Canterbury Scout Group and families, 240 of us went to see Dick Whittington at the Marlowe Theatre in Canterbury, after the performance Stephen Mulhern met with our Scouts, Explorers and families for a private meet and greet, while the Beavers (Celebrating their 30th Year) and Cubs (Celebrating their 100th year) moved into the Small Marlowe Studio to prepare to renew their promise along with Stephen Mulhern.

Stephen joined the Cubs and Beavers after chatting and joking with the young people he wished to be part of the renewal of the promise and was invested and presented with Our Group Scarf.

He was Excited, proud and honoured to be asked to join in with the Scouts celebrations as he has a lot of time and respect for the movement and it's members.

Simon, a member of Stephens team as well as a member of the Edinburgh Scout Gang show also renewed his promised and was presented with a Group Scarf.
