Easter Chicken Hunt
The Easter chicken hunt saw scores of children dashing around Lower Grange Farm to catch sight of the 10 specially named chickens. A creme egg was awaiting them if they were successful! Some members of the jamboree contingent took the opportunity to do some fundraising and the barn was transformed into a craft market for the day.
Tours of the site were also popular with lots of people taking the time to look at the work that has been undertaken recently. The Scout Active Support Unit and others have transformed the upstairs conference area which is now fully accessible with a disabled lift.
The sun shone and everyone enjoyed themselves and we look forward to more events at Lower Grange Farm.
